たいら郷土館
This folklore museum features exhibits on niter, a component of gunpowder, and its production process, as well as the history of Gokayama and silk worm culture. Starting in mid-September and lasting one month, the annual Nationwide Washi Collage Painting Exhibition attracts artists from all over the country to display dazzling works of art using washi paper.
