越中一宮高瀬神社
We are a shrine that has been revered by the community since back when this region was called Etchu hundreds of years ago. The shrine is for the worship of the god of medicine and healing, Okuninushi; the god of health and longevity, Amenoikutama; and the god of work, Isotakeru. Okuninushi specifically is worshiped as a god of medicine and healing because in the folktale “The Hare of Inaba” Okuninushi healed the rabbit in the story. We have a rabbit statue based off the one in the story, and if you pet it your mind and body will feel refreshed!
