Takase Iseki Archeological Site

This is an archeological excavation of a 1000 year old historic landmark. Every year in the middle of June is the Takaseiseki Sweet Flag (flower)Festival. Thanks to water canal maintained for the excavation, we have the earliest sweet flag blooming in Toyama Prefecture. We are also famous for our fireflies.
