Shiko Munakata Memorial Hall “Aizen En” and Former Residence “Riugasai”

We are an exhibition of the artistic prints done by Shikou Munakata who evacuated to Fukumitsu in 1945 during the war. After construction, the building he lived in for 5 years became called Aizenen and the workshop inside it is called Riugasai, which is where he made numerous artistic works and interacted with members of the community. The pictures carved on the door, the ceiling, and even the walls of the bathroom are all great works of art that are a must-see! (Free talks about the exhibition and building are available)
