臼浪水

Kyurosui Spring

It is said that when Master Shakunyo was in the middle of riding to Tokyo his horse kicked the ground and water came rushing out, which became this spring. It is thought that the name of Inami and the location of Zuisen Temple originates from this spring, and there was a small retreat and garden built on the land of the spring in the Edo period. This place has a deep historic atmosphere to it and is even often mentioned in poems like Kurokamian.
