城端曳山祭のQ&A(英語)

Q: Where can I see the hikiyama floats?
The floats process along a narrow area stretching approximately half a kilometer to the north and south of Johana Betsuin Zentokuji Temple and can be found by following the sound of float music. The floats move slowly and can be easily located on foot.

Q: When can I hear the float songs?
Float songs can be heard all day except during noon and evening break times. Float musicians perform them at houses that have requested performances (usually around 50 houses in any given year), and houses that have placed requests receive performances from all six float-owning neighborhoods, such that a full round of float songs takes about 30 to 40 minutes per house.
